I'd say Puck fills the antagonist role most emphatically. He complicates Oberon's plans. Puck sets Bottom against his friends and the entire Titania love theme in play. He misleads the lovers, so they are fighting him when they think they are fighting one another.

Shakespeare wrote the play because of a wedding The thought of romance is sometimes real and magical ,like the world of fairies the humans’ world is out of balance. Their are four young Athenians (Lysander, Hermia, Demetrius, and Helena) who have romantic problems. Both men love Hermia, but she loves only Lysander. Which her father disapproves.
