Rhetorical Analysis Draft The MD, DC, And Virginia’s Public Safety Campaign is about being a safe driver, reducing injuries and death around the region, increasing awareness about safety enforcement, and being street smart (street mart). I feel that the intended audience is all of the drivers and pedestrians of the MD, DC, and Virginia’s area. This campaign is trying to convince drivers to promote better safety while driving. This ad wants to “decrease the average number of 8 people being struck by moving vehicles a day in the metropolitan area”, because they want to promote better safety and save lives. One can find the ads on sides of busses and at bus stops. This is a persuasive ad because it provides statistics, pathos, logos, and ethos about pedestrians getting struck by cars due to problems that can be fixed easily. The …show more content…
Being a safe and responsible driver is very important in this world. Taking some one life away or injuring them is very selfish because it’s not that hardtop be a cautious driver. By having the ads with the kids to adults in age pictures with the tire marks across their faces provide pathos. Also they provided logos by adding quotes to the pictures that will catch a person’s eyes and make them stop and think. They also handed out pamphlets, and reflective zipper pulls that would make every single person most likely think about being a safer driver or even walking being aware at night. Also by the writer Sherry Mathew’s providing very detailed information about this campaign throughout this whole magazine, it helped people even me in being more trust worthy in her because you can see how great it
