For example, when my son was younger I use to take him to the park. He loved the swings. He will just giggle the higher he swung. The other kids in the park will hear him laughing and will want to use the swing so they can also enjoy themselves as my son did. But, since the swing was being used by my son, the other kids were unable to use it too. Since financially he did not make a lot of money he was going the give me $300.00 for rent and help repairing my home. Well off course things did not work out the way he had promise me. My light bill and water bill went up, he always had an excused why he could not pay me, and it took him two months to fix my front door and gave me attitude when I question when he will start working on the other repairs around the house he had promised me he will do. He was living off me, enjoying the commodities and not contributing financially to the household. I gave him an ultimatum, he either pays rent and help around the house as he promises, or he moved out that same day. Rent in Florida has increased dramatically in recent year making it impossible for low income people to afford renting. The government needs to regulate private market and landlords from increasing rent and to provide suitable homes for tenants to live in. If the government internes more people will be able to afford housing which it will prevent from family having to live in hotels, in cars becoming homeless or living with family and
