While working on the assignment, I did run into some challenges. The biggest being that it was hard to find facts and statistics on PTSD that were Canadian and relatively recent. I ran into this issue because many websites that I found focused more on America, on worldwide facts and statistics, and the information was quite outdated. To work around this issue I mostly got information from websites related to the Canadian government. Another issue that I ran into …show more content…
I was very happy when we came together as a group because I’ve never been in a group with any of these people before and I was excited to work with them.
One of the strengths from our group’s presentation was that we all included lots of helpful information on PTSD on our respective slides, which will hopefully teach the class something about the mental illness. Another strength of our presentation was how it looked. Kristina and I spent lots of time going over the aesthetic of the entire presentation to make sure every slide matched (ex: using the same font and colours). The next step for our presentation would be to think about the logical sequence of the slides, as we ran out of time to put them in proper order.
Personally, I believe that our group’s strengths included respecting each other and being productive. I say that one of our strengths involved respect because this helped everyone’s voices be heard, which in term helped improve the quality of our presentation. Our other strength that involved productivity defiently helped us finish the assignment because we knew that we had to stay organized and on task. The next step our group should take would be to communicate better with each other because there was one instance where someone was doing the same task as someone else and one person had to work on another slide that no one was yet assigned
