Initial Goals: My initial goals for the program was to take in an equation like 5*(4/3+2^(3-1)) and return the answer to it (26.666667 in this case). I intended it to work with simple arithmetic (multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, exponents, and parentheses). My initial brainstorming resulted in an iterative action. The program would follow the order of operations and begin with the contents of innermost parentheses and replace that portion of the input with the answer before moving one step out into what is now the innermost parentheses.…

The project has a rolling wave planning with its schedules being dominated more on resources rather than its activity. Even though the firmness of activity predecessors is absolute and the scope has been determined in the early stage of the project, most of the activities are on the critical path, which depend on the resources in each phase. Given the nature of the project, unique specialisations of resources are needed and the availabilities of those resources are yet to be known. This defines the rolling wave planning that the information in the earlier stages is more detailed than the later stages.
