Psychopaths often blend in with normal members of society. Successful serial killers must be able to disguise their gruesome crimes to continue acting on their morbid impulses. Sometimes, sexual abuse or unfulfilled sexual desires may lead these killers to using their victims to carry out these passions. (Example of a sexual driven killer here). Regardless of the different paths taken for these types of killers, the common thread that links them all is the fact they enjoy killing. Taking the life of others is a thrill for psychopaths, and the rush gained from killing outweighs any sort of compassion or sympathy for the lives of their victims.
