To answer these questions I wanted to expand my knowledge further about how the mind and brain work. For this reason I decided to study psychology at A-level, allowing me to explore the wide range of topics involved in the subject, such as cognitive, social and developmental psychology. During my study at AS level I took a particular interest in social psychology, looking at the research by different psychologists such as Asch’s research into conformity and Milgram’s obedience work. This has enabled me to answer questions such as ‘why do people conform?’ and ‘Why do people obey morally wrong orders?’. My …show more content…

I often took the leading role of guiding my group to the intended destination, allowing me to build upon my leadership skills. One challenging aspect of the expedition was when my group and I got lost in bad weather conditions.
