Psychology is the scientific studies of the thoughts and the behaviors”(Rosenberg, 2012) When we hear the word psychology, we know that it has something to do with our mental and physical states. , But don’t think past all that. Till people start talking about psychology mental and physical disorders. The root word psyche comes from the Greek for “mind,” but modern psychology is as likely to study the brain and behavior, as it is the “mind.” (Rosenberg, 2012)

Psychology dates back to the 1870’s after Wilhelm Wundt founded the first laboratory in 1879, where he conducted experiments related to all matters of psychology. While research through psychology woman were less noted for their accomplishments and contributions to the studies of psychology since woman were less interested in psychology.
During scientific research in psychology research design were used to conduct studies by people in laboratories to see if treatments changed behavior. When psychologist conducts scientific research they observe things then collect data to help them form theories about things then they can test their predictions of what might or might not happen or take place the n they research and try to understand the results that they have been given throughout the process.
