Psychology In The Green Mile

The green mile is a movie based on a man named paul that lives in an elderly home and loves to go on long walks. One day on a very stormy day, the old man gets out of his seat and walks out of the room that he was in sobbing. One of his friends goes after him and wants to talk. He says that he will tell her but she is the only person besides the people that he used to work with that knows. He begins telling he the story and it flashes back to 1935 when the old man was a guard in block E of a death row camp. He walks many people down to the room where they are brutally executed. One day though paul finds out that he has a urinary tract infection, meaning that it hurt him to go to the bathroom and that he could hardly move. The new inmate named john that was super tall and buff says that he needs to see him. When paul gets over to him he touches his hand and all of a sudden, a super bright light appears in his hand and when john let's go paul is fully cured. The next day, one of the inmates finds a mouse and names him, mr. jenkles and asks to keep him and paul says ok and the inmate and the rat become “best of friends.” one day though, mr. jenkles goes out of his cell and on of the super rude guards squashes him like a bug. The inmate is devastated. Fortunately, john thinks that he can help so paul brings the dead squashed rat over to him and john brings him back to life. Later that night though they bring the inmate that had the rat to the chair and begin the process. The guard that squashed mr.jenkins is leading the procedure and once they put the mask on and are about to put on the hat that channels the electricity, the guard does not dip the sponge in the bucket of water that is used to help channel the electricity faster so that it does not cross the 8th amendment of cruel
