I’m a hard worker and I like to work hard and be busy while I'm at work. I can be assertive and lead a team. I also work well with a variety people from different backgrounds, which I think is the key to being a good neurologist. When I was doing internship, I got a chance to work with different doctors, each one having their own style and bedside manner. This was a most valuable experience for me. I took things from every doctor I worked with and learned from it. I saw the kind of doctor I wanted to be. Throughout my clinical training, I’ve been encouraged by the feedback I’ve got from both physicians and patients, not only in terms of competence, but also in compassion.
I believe that compassion is a quality that has matured in me over the years, coming to know something of what it’s like to lay in a hospital bed and say to a stranger? I trust you to help me! Accordingly, I always make it a point to communicate assurance to my patients and their families, and when possible, I see to it that I step away from my patient with both of us
