Quality of Life Most often moving up the socioeconomic ladder and passing benefits on to the next generation is much more involved, and it typically impacts a person’s quality of life. Quality of life is defined as the standard of health, comfort, and happiness experienced by an individual or group. It’s considered to be a “highly subjective measure of happiness that is an important component of many financial decisions, one such as paying for a college education according to an article called Quality of Life. (Quilaty of Life, 2008) The article also points out that there are different factors that play roles in the quality of life. These factors appear to vary by personal preferences but are all considered important. These factors include “financial security, job satisfaction, family life, health and safety” (Quilaty of Life, 2008). Hence, the given factors for the quality of life are all important. All factors should be reviewed and evaluated to understand how they each affect ones quality of life individually.

Again, there are many college students that have to obtain more than one place of employment just to pay off school cost and other associated fees. However, most are at a place in their lives when they know what they want to do, and what needs to be done to get it. College students that work more than one job to pay the cost for higher educations are typically aware of the benefits of getting a higher education. Majority of the students hope that once they have graduated and obtained their degree that employment opportunities will skyrocket.
