Psychological Diagnosis Of Mental Illness

A mental illness is generally referring to psychological disorder which affecting a person’s mind and behavior. While many people may experience depression sometime in life, a psychological diagnosis of clinical depression is far more severe, and would deeply affect a person’s daily activities for more than a month long. With that being said, not many cultures are as accessible of mental illness as in the US, considering in the US, for someone who have diagnosed with a mental disorder are typically labelled as deviant, and in other cultures, mental illness is considered as taboo.

³I believe an intervention would need to be very careful in this situation, for the reason that the villagers have a deep-rooted traditions, considering
