After reviewing the results of the staging with the Psychological Continuum Model for the three sports teams, my initial perceptions from discussion board 3 are clearly inconsistent with the results of the staging activity in many ways. The psychological connection I thought I had with each of the three teams was clearly misinterpreted. Based on my responses to the staging activity, the psychological connection I have with the Seminoles football team is within the allegiance stage which I clearly thought was an attraction because of the amount of fun I have watching the Seminoles complete; the psychological connection I have with the Cleveland Cavaliers are within the allegiance stage, which I for sure thought it was an attraction due to the amount of entertainment and drama I get from watching them compete, and the …show more content…
However, with regard to the Cleveland Cavaliers and the results of the staging activity, I think there are differences in my perceptions of the psychological connection because I am also resistant to change with the team. Also, I am quite persistent towards the Cavaliers because the staging results state that if close friends recommended following another team, I would not stop following my favorite team. Despite my lack of consciousness of the allegiance stage, I assumed I had an attraction to the Cleveland Cavaliers because of the amount of fun I have watching them compete. Lastly, regarding the Golden State Warriors, my perceptions as well as the results of the staging activity remained the same. The reason why I believe that both my perceptions and the staging results remained the same is because I have a very low pleasure score for the purpose that my preference for supporting the Warriors would not willingly change compared to both the Seminoles and Cavaliers

There are sports psychology programs out there but they aren’t everywhere. While the career of sports psychology does sound interesting to me, the career path I am interested is not very psychology related. While I do enjoy sports, I don’t actively enjoy them too often. Because of this, this type of career would not be best suited for me. In the early stages of his ownership he would explore the concessions stands, wait in line with fans at the restrooms, and examine all facets of what makes a great experience for the fans (Sureshkumar, 2014).…
