Dear Dr. Appleby

As I mentioned during our telephone conversation, my Explorers Club is learning about Antarctica and I am preparing a report about the Antarctic expeditions of Sir Ernest Shackleton. I would like permission to view the museum’s special collection of expedition photographs. I will be in Chicago on Saturday, December 9, and would like to view the photographs in the afternoon between 1 and 3 p.m.
