I am more aware of my own strengths as a leader and areas I need to improve upon based on Goleman’s (2015) leadership quiz, my advocacy experience on Capital Hill, and mentorship. I have improved my communication skills within groups by speaking out more with concise thoughts and evidence to back them up. I have been challenging processes by appealing to different means to accomplish a task, such as working within a group rather than individually to finish a project.
