Part A #1 I would start out the story by mentioning how Abraham is a great person. I would start explaining the importance of doing the right thing. Abraham knew the consequences if he were to get caught, but he also knew what was right. If he were to get caught he would be severely punished, but that didn’t stop Abraham. He risked his life, and his daughter's life to protect these strangers. If Abraham would have gotten caught, his daughters could have been raped, and he possibly could have been killed. Again, Abraham knew what the right thing was so he kept the men. Something then happened to Abraham as he continued to protect these men. God appeared in his life. God appreciated what Abraham did and protects Abraham and his family and guest

    1. One of the first questions that I have for Mariah is if she remembers her mother and stepfather and how did this affect you when you were growing up. Although the case study talks about the father being abusive I would want to know about the mother and their relationship. Then I would ask a follow up question and ask Mariah if she tried looking for her parents and what would she get out of it if she tried to look for her parents. Another question I would have for Mariah is if she could tell me more about the babies’ father and what type of relationship did they have.…

Why should someone be interested in this problem?(Why is it interesting to analyze this data set?)As students prepare for future semesters they typically want the most information they can get beforechoosing their courses. For some students having a good instructor is very important to them. Resourceslike RateMyProfessors.com offer students a way to “rate” their previous instructors, in order to provideuseful information for future students looking to take a course with that teacher. While it could be arguedthat the opinions of these students are subjective, and that the website could be augmented by non-students(outside the population of interest), the success of RateMyProfessors.com would imply a certain validity intheir model of perceived quality. Background information people need to know to understand to problem and/or data set.…

PS 331 Participation Exercise Edelman 1. The Political Spectacle a. Edelman defines the political spectacle as, “Accounts of political issues, problems, crises, threats, and leaders now become devices for creating disparate assumptions and beliefs about the social and political world rather than factual statements. The very concept of ‘fact’ becomes irrelevant because every meaningful political object and person is an interpretation that reflects and perpetuates an ideology. Taken together, they compromise the spectacle which varies with the social situation of the spectator and serves as a meaning machine: a generator of points of view and therefore of perceptions, anxieties, aspirations, and strategies” (pg. 10). b.…

In light of the patriarchal narratives, these stories articulate faith in God. Of the patriarchal stories, the narrative that empowered me the most was the story of Moses. The narratives of Noah, Abram, and Jacob where just as impactful, but I felt I had a spiritual connection to the patriarchal story of Moses. Moses was a great man of God who made a covenant with God, or who encountered God. Moses was attentive to God’s will and was faithful and trustworthy towards God.…

God’s commands and blessings came together. Abraham obeyed God’s command to leave his own country to a land he did not know. He and his descendants’ journey was full of uncertainty and challenges, but God’s command and promise led them step by step, generation to generation to see the glory of God. Christian Mission is like the journey to the Promised Land. In Matthew 28, Jesus commanded the disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you”, and Jesus will “be with disciples always, to the very end of the age.…
