Sgt. Agnew,

Here are some of my thoughts about things we need to work on. I realize some of the things I'm going to talk about I don't really have the answer or the idea how to correct them. I've racked my brain and this is how I feel. I believe Officer Albert and I work extremely hard in changing peoples perception on campus about UPD. This has taken awhile but I believe UPD's relationship with residents and staff is way better than it was before CP started. This isn't meant to give Officer Albert and I a pat on the back. We volunteered for CP and were put in place to change the perception of UPD.

I think all officers need to try to get to know residents/faculty on campus better. More importantly, let them get to know you as a person. Everyone has different

Last year it was a major issue as people got robbed walking and looking at their cell phones. Albert and I parked a UTV on the main sidewalk awhile back, we noticed several people walking on the sidewalk towards us looking at their phones. We sat there for about 15 to 20 minutes, while we were sitting there three different people almost walked straight into the UTV and probably would have if Officer Albert and I didn't say anything. Our intention wasn't to get someone hurt, or really anything other than to park the UTV as the sidewalk is rather wide. But after watching the first person almost walk into the UTV we thought we would sit there a little longer. This was during broad day light and people were almost walking into a parked UTV, how bad is this at night? If we can become creative as a team in coming up with some kind of event that we can host or a group project to help people be more aware of their surroundings and not be so focused on our phones, I believe this would help prevent/deter crime more on

According to Cordes, O’Hare and Steuerle the table above represented the change that occurred in tax revenue and charitable giving based on four options. In option one, if all non-itemizers were allowed to deduct their charitable contributions starting from the first dollar given the results support previous claims that the increase in giving to charities does not outweigh the cost of tax revenue (3). Option two took a different approach and proposed to add a floor of $500 to those non-itemizers who file jointly and $250 for those who file single. In order to take a deduction, the contribution had to be in excess of the floor set for the individual. By limiting the deduction, it is seen that the revenue cost became lower while the amount of extra giving that was encouraged did not significantly increase considering the floor provided the subsidy to extra giving rather than giving that would have occurred without any incentive (Cordes, O’Hare & Steuerle 4).…

Following the correct guidelines for significant figures is crucial in reporting accurate data that is reflective of the accuracy of the means used to collect it. It follows that the answer to any calculation can be no more nor any less precise than the least precise piece of data involved in the calculation. In this course, we will follow a set of rules meant to a) provide consistency to our significant figures and rounding and b) provide answers that agree, in accuracy and precision, with our measured data. These rules allow us to skip complex, although more accurate, data analysis, and provide us with a workable, functional, and accurate enough method for our purposes.…

The gentleman sitting next the therapist starts off while trying to throw the balloon at someone, but it misses, and the therapist collects the balloon and returns it to him. The therapist then takes on that movement and maneuvers the balloon behind her back and rolls it off to the next person. Now, the rest of the group members are joining in this movement as a way to pass the balloon on to the next person, shared activity.…

In addition, senior citizens and handicapped people would greatly benefit from this new installation. They will probably more struggle if they get into this kind of situation than ordinary people because many times they are in a situation where they can’t make a phone call without other people’s help when they get into car crashes. They might have physical limitation that can cause serious problem such as senior citizens tend to have weaker physical strength than young people so when they got into car crashes they would have hard time to contact the nearest police office because they just barely get out of the crashed car. So if there is an emergency phone along the highway they can just reach there and simply make a phone call to nearest state…

In class a lot is learned about the different rankings, necessary education, and the court systems but talking to an officer gives you personal insight on what he has to go through in everyday life. You can hear how actually dangerous their jobs can be rather than just reading it. You can hear how much they want to keep their community safe rather than just hating them for giving you a speeding ticket. They tell you things they enjoy and dislike doing in their line of work and see how much action they actually have to deal with rather than just relying on stereotypes from movies. I have a new found respect for officers, for the ones who actually care and enjoy their line of work to better the community that they work…
