The interaction of these forces with other environmental aspects is very critical to manipulating the genetic models within organisms and their frequencies. In the past, this is interaction and action of these forces in generations have led to the formation of the changes that are experienced in the world today through the existence of different species that may have originated from the same ancestor. So, the present interaction and action of the forces in the world today may have a significant effect in the presence of various species several different generations will come. When we look around us in the natural and structural changes to see “that the forces of evolution have the theoretical explanations that try to demystify the process of …show more content…
The interaction process leads to mixing of the alleles of the organisms that are interacting. In the case of animals, the interaction process is facilitated by the migration of animals from place to another. So, the gene flow a result of the migration. The resultant effect of the flow of genes is that it alters the frequencies of the alleles in different populations with time. In adjacent populations, gene flow is likely to reduce variations. However, it is likely to increase the variations in populations that are local. In the occurrence of genetic drift, the frequencies of alleles can change as a result of sampling errors. The random change is likely to occur from one generation to another. Genetic drift is very conspicuous in small populations. The small populations are highly affected by this force because the effect of chance in the random deviations from the average can be felt readily as compared to large populations. The population may be affected by the changing of the frequencies in the population. The effect of the changes increases among generations making the impact so huge after so many
