1. One of the first questions that I have for Mariah is if she remembers her mother and stepfather and how did this affect you when you were growing up. Although the case study talks about the father being abusive I would want to know about the mother and their relationship. Then I would ask a follow up question and ask Mariah if she tried looking for her parents and what would she get out of it if she tried to look for her parents. Another question I would have for Mariah is if she could tell me more about the babies’ father and what type of relationship did they have. The case study says she has been moving from place to place so I would try to see where she was living before and while she was pregnant and did have an impact on you.

According to Cordes, O’Hare and Steuerle the table above represented the change that occurred in tax revenue and charitable giving based on four options. In option one, if all non-itemizers were allowed to deduct their charitable contributions starting from the first dollar given the results support previous claims that the increase in giving to charities does not outweigh the cost of tax revenue (3). Option two took a different approach and proposed to add a floor of $500 to those non-itemizers who file jointly and $250 for those who file single. In order to take a deduction, the contribution had to be in excess of the floor set for the individual. By limiting the deduction, it is seen that the revenue cost became lower while the amount of extra giving that was encouraged did not significantly increase considering the floor provided the subsidy to extra giving rather than giving that would have occurred without any incentive (Cordes, O’Hare & Steuerle 4).…

Psychology 201 has been a very intriguing course for me so far. I really enjoyed learning about how the brain works and how big of a role it plays in our lives. Some specific areas of psychology I enjoyed studying were Operant Conditioning, the theories of motivation, and Jean-Dominique Bauby. Operant Conditioning was a familiar concept, even though I was not familiar with the specific terminology. I think reinforcement and punishment are very interesting topics that apply to everyone's lives.…

It demonstrates how our mines worked by different types of emotions in this movie, the girl mind was controlled by anger, disgust, fear, sadness and joy. This emotions and many more show how we act and what we show. It shows us that we tend to deal with our emotions that we have experienced by avoiding the bad feelings and the bad problems.…
