What is the pseudoscientific claim under consideration of Muzak’s theory is because there are not specific scientific result under their claim of “right music” is to increase people’s productivity. After I read the articles and listened “Freakonomics Radio”, those are very interested in because I use music to change my motivation. For instance, I listen to high tempo music when I write an essay especially I need to finish up early or my mind is stuck somewhere. When I start listening, I feel speeding up my writing and my brain works better and faster. On the other hand, that music I listen to when I use for a writing doesn’t match for solving mathematic homework problems. As he said in the radio, fast beat around 94 to 86, people feel fast and shop faster, but less sales result at the shopping store. I believe this is the same content, fast beat makes people move faster, but still, this result has missed their scientific result behind. Those are just statistics. They collected the data of shopping attitude of customers and compared to the profits between using slow beat music, 72 to 74 beats, and fast beat music, 94 to 96 beats.
