Prozac Nation: The Definition Of Loyalty

There is a rather general definition of the word loyalty. According to Merriam-Webster, the definition of loyalty is: giving or showing firm and constant support or allegiance to a person or institution. (Merriam-Webster) The average person would say that loyalty is an unwavering commitment to a person or an idea. Both of these definitions are how the general definition of the word loyalty is thought as, and both are the true and exact meaning. Loyalty is abiding, unyielding, and above all it is unfazed.
Most people, when they hear the word meaning often associate it with a dog. This is because dogs are the perfect example of what it is like to be loyal.
