Once you find that thing that does work for you, you will be a great learner and grow to be very smart. Using study skills is a very good habit that everyone needs to get into, no matter how old you are. When I was younger it was my favorite thing to work with groups. As I got older I got more independent and I started to not like them as much. They can be fun, but I realized it wasn't always best for me to be working in groups all the time. Self-explaining is something that has always worked for me. I didn't know it was a “study skill” but I've always done it. Always keep learning and make sure to try out new skills. It's going to help you out so much in the long run. Also it is not necessary to only stick to one study skill once you found one that really works for you.
