College and professional football in the U.S. also has an approach to these instances. Football players could be fined or even suspended from playing in games if tested positive. In a recent situation, a couple months ago there was three NFL, National Football League, players who were suspended from their last four games of the season because they tested positive to similar substances to steroids. These aren’t the only sport events that test and penalize athletes for the usage, many others test their athletes randomly or even before every game. These attempts aren’t enough because they mainly focus on who had used rather than the source of the substances.
