I watched a documentary called “shame” where a bunch of girls that went to a Kentucky school called Woodford County High school.
They all at least had been sent to the office once for dress code during class at least once.
When if they had a uniform they would have never missed class for something that could have been prevented if they had a uniform.
Another huge thing schools struggle with is gang affiliation.
If you have a uniform it is more difficult for kids to show if they are in a gang.
A huge thing with gangs they are big in violence.

In the article it says that their is 37% of gang members are under the age of 18, AND gang violence costs more than 100 billion dollars a year.
Having a school uniform can instill a community between students.
Having school uniforms can make people feel confident. Feeling confident can mean that you feel equal to the person sitting next to you.
In reality everyone just wants to belong. I know personally that I always just want to fit in and belong and i am positive a lot of you can relate.
So with having uniforms you can reduce violence, prevent kids from missing learning time, help kids with confidence, and make representation of gangs come to a halt with such a simple step. Go for school
