It does not matter if the individual is a teenager or an adult as long as they look for help they will get through this tough time in their life and will not be alone. There are prevention programs that help these people with this type of problems in many ways. One of these ways is that the victim get in contact with a mental health professional who look for any signs of mental health disorder. They also offer therapy, counseling, or prescribe medication to relive the symptoms. In this therapy the person in need realizes that there is a purpose to life. They get to think that there is still hope for them to stay alive. The victim’s loved ones should be fully aware of the signs which leads to suicide. These signs include talking about death, suicidal notes, and lack of enthusiasm for daily tasks such as attending work or school. Along with preventative measure at home such as securing weapons or narcotics which can be used to cause self harm. Some of the main causes can be related to bullying which now not only takes place at social events but also online, parent’s divorce, drugs, or loss of a loved one. All of these are linked to depression in adolescents which is why they choose to end the pain and commit suicide. Parents should be more concerned about their children and the way they raise them because that is what is going to lead them to make either a good or bad decision. Make sure that the people who surround the victims catch the signs that they want to kill themselves, as this is the first step in suicide prevention. They also need to make sure to take them to a professional who can admit them into program where they will get help. People suffering from this disorder need to know there is still hope for them.
