Not only is education a simple access to help the individual to excel to their full potential but it also helps the economy grow. However, every State has their regulations on the education system, which causes complications and a limited amount of support for some schooling. Though if there was a Federal law, all students would receive the same education and reduce inequality.

The results of the study, however, has a mixed outcome showing the progress that some state standards are easily more adaptable then other states could. For example, "student achievement has gotten better, particularly in states such as Delaware, Massachusetts, New York and Texas that were early adopters." Founded in 2007 to write the standards for common core. The co-founders David Coleman, Sue Pimentel and Jason Zimba all became lead writers of Common Core. Fun fact about common core, is that billionaire Bill Gates supports the standards and has contributed seventeen hundred million.
Without standards, districts and schools do not have an established ambition to look forward too. By matching what is taught in the classroom to the criteria in each subject area, the students, parents and faculty will know what teachers are expected to be
