In 1914, there was a truce that most people who know about it will never forget. How come in this time of 2017 some people still can’t be equal with other religions, beliefs, or even just where their from and how they look. If we can’t accept it in 2017 how did the 2 sides in WW1 accept each other willingly even though they were enemies? Some people in our time just don’t understand that the person they hate hasn’t done a thing to them, but in WW1, 2 enemies had come together to celebrate Christmas. This relates to equality because even though these wee 2 enemies who mostly were hating each other for their actions, actually both sides had stopped firing in most lines to come together no matter who they are just to celebrate a miracle of a day, Christmas. Many think how this makes sense because they think if we can’t get over racism today than how will we end up? This had no answer and nobody can tell exactly what will happen, but if it escalates in the future, it could end up in some type of civil war again all over just the color of someone's skin. Even though you might say or notice someone is black, white or, Asian or British and they might sound or look different does that change who they are? No! because that is what they are but what they are also doesn’t matter, what does matter is people need to stop complaining and get over it and learn that someone isn’t defined over what type of race or religion they are, it is about what they are doing or have done that shows who they are or defines who they were and that is how you should actually define
