No we aren’t at the bondage of external racism, but as the years have gone by its turned into more of an internal racism. Yes we no longer have legalize slavery, but we are still treated in ways that are unfair. They were able to vote and attend good schools. There is no more segregation and for a while life as an African American wasn’t at the high level of difficulty it once was before.
