When the topic of Vaping is introduced, most people do not have a strong enough concept of what it actually is to talk about it. Vaping is basically the inhalation and exhalation of vapor produced by a vaporizing pen. The vaporizing pens have coils inside that heat up the liquid to produce the vapor that is then inhaled. The liquid inside the vaporizing pen is called e-liquid. The problem is that most people do not know these facts. This is mainly because these products have only been around for about ten years. Everyone just assumes that the use of a vape pen basically has the same effects on the human body as traditional tobacco cigarettes;when the fact is that they have many benefits as opposed to traditional cigarettes. This liquid differs depending on the company you buy it from, but they all usually have the same base ingredients. Organic vegetable glycerine is one of those ingredients. This product is a clear liquid produced from plant oils. It is a natural mixture composed of three fatty acids(What Is Vegetable Glycerin?). The other ingredients include propylene glycol, flavorings, and pharmaceutical grade nicotine(Smoking vs. Vaping: Which Is Healthier?). The presence of nicotine is what has become a large point critics focus on when they talk about vaping. These critics however fail to mention that the level of nicotine can be controlled by the one using the e-liquid. The ability to control the nicotine in the liquid is a big advantage to the vape users. “ In our business, e-liquid in very low to zero nicotine strength,”says Mike Floorwalker. This fact also grants those trying to quit nicotine with an easier way to wean of the chemical. In studies done it shows that 44 percent of people that chose to try vaping, switch to it exclusively after about six months(The Truth About Vaping). People that switch to vaping from smoking regular cigarettes claim to have higher stamina, productivity, and efficiency. The ingredients in the e-liquid is much healthier compared to the traditional cigarette that contains things such as nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, and arsenic. Arsenic is a very dangerous chemical that is linked to several types of cancer. It is also known as a type of poisoning. Arsenic is only one chemical found in cigarettes that can cause high risk. There are more than 6999 other chemicals within the cigarettes, each with their own separate risks that will affect the smoker. Every single chemical in cigarettes compared to the few chemicals in vape pens really shows a great advantage to vaping as opposed to the traditional
