Society will be so much better with perfect people. No sicknesses will ever be the problem. A society where people can create the traits they want is what everyone desires to do. Tall, strong, colored eyes, intelligent, and programed to do the best and be the best. Who wouldn’t want that? We as a culture are already aiming that direction that with idolizing good looking people who are attractive and wanting the model appearance. A better race of people is an option that many side on. On the other hand, many disagree with the whole concept of human cloning all together. Those who are against human cloning believe that it shouldn’t even be taken to consideration or a concept that should not be even discussed because of all the negative possibilities that can occur. Giving permission to human cloning will only create more problems than there already is in the medical system. For the most part it is still a risk that can have a regretting outcome. Nearly 98 percent attempts of cloning animals have failed. The first experiment ever done with a mammal named Dolly took numerous of tries to complete and it still ended up failing because the poor sheep ended up worst and living a short life. Extracting DNA is not an easy procedure to do. Mistakes are prone to happen. If cloning animal still hasn 't been successful why go to the extreme of cloning a human? Stems cells can be unstable and change causing effects later on once born. According to Genetic Modification, “many cloned animals also suffer from large baby syndrome in which the fetus grows double its normal size and the syndrome sometimes results in the death of the mother.” Human cloning is more risky than protected. Now that both positions have been shared and it seems like these two sides cannot mesh together, figuring out a common ground so both can favor a new solution of incorporating both reasons into one compromise is the answer. Supporters and non supporters of human cloning agree in one major commonality: wanting the best for society. Even though the proposition side wants the best for society in a scientific way and the opposition side wants the best for society in a ethical way, they still have good intentions for people.
