The Universal Service Act should not be passed, because it would disregard a person’s own free will. In doing so, this act will force people to do certain things-they may not want to do for a certain amount of time-once they reach a certain age. In an article by the national security, the author states that, “.....it violates people’s rights to exercise free will. No one has a final say whether they should participate or not in the military training and enter the army since it is a compulsory mandate implemented throughout the country” (10 Meaningful….Service).
