The principal source of geothermal energy is from beneath the surface of the earth. During the formation of the earth, there was an accumulation of heat, as a result of the vigorous process. The heat energy amounts to billions of joules, which needs to be tapped by human beings to generate geothermal energy. The earth’s crust retains this heat.
Additionally, many materials under the earth's surface undergo dynamic decaying process. These procedures play a significant role in the generation of geothermal energy. Over the decades, the earth has been losing massive amounts of heat through natural activities like the volcanic eruptions, hot springs, and many others. These things happen because the earth is unable to accommodate the massive amounts of energy beneath its surface.
Therefore, the future of geothermal usage in the world is bright, because numerous countries are adopting it as a perfect alternative source of energy. Due to the effects of global warming and desertification, the rivers …show more content…
The commonly used source of energy in the world, fuel, is not renewable. Once the fuel wells are exhausted, they cannot be retrieved. However, you cannot deplete geothermal energy, because there is a continuous formation of heat under the earth’s surface.
If the experts tap this energy efficiently, they can be able to generate enough energy every day, which will help in the economic growth of different countries. Due to the changes of the activities that undergo underneath the earth, the temperatures at the geothermal plants may decrease. The process may also affect the amount of energy generated, which would eventually diminish. The perfect solution is to ensure that there are numerous wells in the plant to tap more energy and steam continuously.
