Surprisingly, I learned a great deal being in this group. I also changed my opinion, or should I say gained one, about a lot of issues that I overlooked in the pass. The first being the FDA. Before this project, I never really thought about this organization or anything that they did. I never thought to question their judgment or why they made certain rules and regulations either. However, after reading the first assigned article about foods that are banned in other countries and not in America, that quickly changed. I began to look at the FDA with more of a suspicious eye.
