The CT-Scan is a medical imaging procedure that uses data from digital technology (computer) to combine several combinations of X-ray images. These images are taken from different angles to give a detailed cross sectional picture and use digital geometry processing to generate a 3-dimensional (3D) image of specific areas of structures inside a human’s body.
CT- Scan is used to assist a diagnosis and early detection of disease. It is a non-invasive and painless procedure. It uses ionizing radiation.
