You pointed out a very important public health issue that needs to be addressed very stringently, both at state and federal level. Distracting drivers include anyone texting, using cell phones, eating, drinking, talking to passengers, grooming, reading (including maps), using navigation system, watching a video, or adjusting the audio or radio system. Due to our busy lifestyle, drivers tend to eat, drink or groom while rushing to work or places. All these puts the driver at risk of being distracted.
