According to many people, criminals will always acquire guns; therefore, there is no point in gun control in the first place, but that is the same as saying, "I know this person is a serial killer, but I will just hand over my gun to him because he will end up with a gun anyway." Certainly, there are ways to acquire guns even with stricter gun control, but should that be an excuse to just hand them out to everybody?
