I think this is good because Sex offenders, just like any other criminals are more likely to commit their mistake again and I would not want myself or anyone else to be around one of them. We have to protect our society and do whatever we can and knowing the names of sex offenders gives us the chance to be more alert and think twice if to trust them or not. On the other side it can be also be a bad thing because It does not make any sense to punish anyone for such a long time and making them afraid of other people judging them. Everybody may do something wrong in their life. I think if we you can forgive ourselves, we can forgive them at the same time. Those people can be as nice as anybody. Engaging in healthy activities and getting the right care and support can put problems in side and help reduce your stress level. I think a person can cope stress with many things such as Take care of yourself, Eat healthy, well-balanced meals, Exercise on a regular basis, Get plenty of sleep, Give yourself a break if you feel stressed out. The most important one for me is to talk to others. Share your problems and how you are feeling and coping with a parent, friend, counselor, doctor, or pastor. If I am feeling stress I usually just go talk to my parents or my friends because they always cheer me up. Positive way to deal with stress is to “positive self talk” I think self talk can be positive. To help myself feel better I sometime talk to myself such as I say “I got this”, “I can deal with this situation”. Saying positive things to myself helps me reduce my stress. Some negative consequences of the way I cope with stress will be over thinking everything, yelling at someone or talk back at my parents in my opinion Acute Stresses are easier to cope with as compared to others because these are short-term stressful situations that will soon be resolved. For an Example: Car runs out of gas, short term

I totally agree that sex laws are unjust to sex offenders are ineffective as the economist states. The laws treat the most dangerous offenders and the least dangerous in a similar way that is unjust. Publicizing sex offenders often expose them to vigilantism harassment and also murder in rare cases. However, not all sex offenders do. The majority of sex offenders do not prey to unknown victims but are known to their victims, “sexual perpetrators victimized strangers in about 27 percent of rapes and 15 percent in sexual assaults” (Bureau of Justice Statistic 1997). Whether or not to label a juvenile as a sex offender is not an easy question to answer. Many states treat juveniles differently than adults, Edwards (n.d.) stated: With a steadfast focus on rehabilitation and confidentiality, the justice system has sought to preserve the premise that juvenile offenders are not miniature adults. But Edwards goes on to say: Yet, when a juvenile is adjudicated on a sex offense, Oregon makes no meaningful distinction between an adult and juvenile offender therefore juveniles must register on the same list as adults. According to Siegel & Welsh (2015), if juveniles are deemed delinquents then they are labeled as sex offenders and may have to register as such after their release (p. 176).…
