In the united states, there are only two major political parties. Unlike other countries where they have more than two parties, which led into inaccurate vote results, however in the USA it’s completely different. In the USA they want to keep and prevent presidents from being elected with less than a majority of the vote. To make it uncomplicated for the people to be convinced on what they believe in. Unfortunately, nothing is perfect; there are some positive and negative consequences. The positive side is that Republicans want small government which contains small number of employees as well as the roles of government in our everyday life. For example, republicans proposed to cut or at least limit the food stamps programs along with the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. I strongly agree with cutting or limiting these kinds of programs because it will decrease the unemployment rate. People will start to look for jobs to support their families instead staying home without a job waiting for the government assistances. Because business owners pay taxes and their taxes goes to these kinds of programs. I think this would be fair for business owners if the government cut or limit the food stamps. Regardless of how much each individual earn minimum wage is still one of most recent issues in these days. However the Republicans are opposing minimum wage, but I completely disagree with them on the minimum wage proposal, due to decrease poverty line and people who work very hard deserve to have a good pay to support themselves as well as their families. Republicans are saying that it will hurt the business. It will not hurt the business since they have profits and it will not cost them that much. By raising the minimum wage it will defiantly increase the stander of living of the poor people, motivates employees to work more passionately, and decreases the cost of government social welfare programs by increasing incomes for the lowest-paid. I think raising the minimum wage will decreases the unemployment rate, because most of the people will be willing and interested to work now than before. I also disagree with republicans when the say that minimum wage will cause inflation.
