In our nation, we are a representative democracy, that if we wish not to be in direct relationship with a political process, we can have our representatives make decisions on our behalf that aid in governing the people and laws. Although our democracy is indirect, it does not take away our right to completely eliminate our say in the government, we still have a voice and the freedom to express our dissatisfaction (legal protest), it would appear that this is in effect would be a straightforward process and a highly efficient form of government. Therefore, do we have the right to complain? I had to reflect on this notion because it is true as you stated that we should not consider our freedom to elect, as burdensome, but a privilege
