A big concern and opposition against racial profiling is the cause of racial tension. Many feel that it is ineffective because those that are most likely to be profiled against don’t cooperate with law enforcement, even if they are not the ones committing a crime just because they feel discriminated against (“Racial Profiling Pros”). Those who have been racially profiled unjustly find it hard to see how essential it is, which is completely understandable. However, this is where it is played out wrong. Profiling is not about discriminating, persecuting, or harassing any race, religion, or ethnicity.
