Pros And Cons Of Owning Exoitic Pets

Decent Essays
I think owning exoitic pets should not be allowed because they are to much to take care of. The owners have them for a little while, but when they get big they just dumped them off into the woods and they end up killing our birds and other animals. It isn´t a good idea to have these pets they are no good for us. They do nothing for us they just grow really big and they get annoying. Don't buy these pets they are nothing but trouble.
These pets can get up to 20 feet long and when they are that big you just can't take care of them anymore they are fun at first but when they get big there aren't very fun. It is not a good idea so if you go buy a pet just buy a dog, cat, hamster, etc something that is easy to take care of. Don't make our environment

When families go to SeaWorld they are surrounded by sea creatures; some of the main attractions include dolphin shows and sensational performances of the Killer Whales. Audiences view the shows and enjoy tricks that trainers and animals perform. However, they can be dangerous but can still have a playful personality with a lot of intelligence (Kirby, 3). Unfortunately, these large animals are in tanks that keep them restricted from returning to the ocean, thus placing themselves and their trainers in danger. Both passages discuss about whether it's ok to bring dogs to work. The employee who was in favor of taking dogs to work believes it would be a good idea for lowering stress and anxiety. Conversely the employee who was not in favor of taking dogs to work believes dogs will misbehave or even hurt someone. Both employees have good point's of view, I agree more with the employee who is "Agianst Bringing Dogs to Work". One reason I believe it is not a good idea to take dog to work is because a office is not a good environment for a dog to be running around in.…

Do you think that all most animals should be service animals or just dogs should be allowed? Well I do think that because other animals can do more things than other animals can. Such as the monkey it can help people in different ways other than the service dog that cannot do as much things than the monkey. All animals are different so that means that the other animals can do lots of more different things than just things that the dog can do. Also the dog can pretty much do easy things…

Should exotic animal ownership be legal? Once, when I was in the middle of my fourth grade summer vacation, I went camping with my family. More than once, on the ride there, we saw bears and a couple hawks and eagles. I think exotic animals should be allowed to be owned as pets, because it would be a nice learning experience, as many people wonder what it would be like to own a snake or turtle.…

Numerous people believe owning an exotic pet, such as a tiger or a lion would be fine, since some people view these exotic animals as normal average pets. However, not many Americans take into consideration the effects these exotic animals can cause to humans and to the animals themselves. In National Geographic, the author of the article,“Exotic Pets”, Lauren Slater, presents a graph to show that 66% of exotic animals are owned privately, 28% of the animals are owned by the zoo, and 6% of the animals are owned by the circus. The percentages shown above represent the total amount of exotic pets being held captive without a license or a permit, which is 96%, from 1990 all the way up to 2013. This statement alone gives the following…
