Kids of my generation around America today are becoming lazier and lazier, losing interest in school faster and faster, and helping each other less and less. However, there are organizations that are helping kids maximize on their potential and to be the leaders of tomorrow, one of them being NHS. It starts from the very beginning, giving kids the goal of being in the association in the first place. People are nothing without goals, and by giving kids that might be lost or confused a good goal, it has pushed them in the right direction.
