I am usually reasonable when making decisions and use a level head. I take making decisions pretty seriously so I look at all of the facts and weigh the pros and the cons. This is very logical thinking and I rarely look to my emotions to make major decisions. As a judging personality type I like to have step-by-step instructions and I want to know before hand what to expect. I took the test again at a different time and got a slightly different result. Despite the fact that the results were different, they were pretty similar besides one letter. The downfall to this exam is that humans are incredibly complex and cannot just be put into one category such as one hundred percent introverted or extraverted. Most people are a combination of both which is not a bad thing. Another negative aspect of the Myers- Briggs Indicator is that taking a test like this may hinder persons potential. For example when I took this test entering High school, I saw it as my destiny almost taking it too literally. I thought well I am in introvert so that made me think that I could not also have extroverted qualities. This system of labeling can actually do more harm than good especially in an education or work setting.
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is an accurate view of how I view the world and make decisions because it fits my future job aspirations, learning style and personality type. Anyone could see how the test could have its faults but it was fairly accurate during my experience. This questionnaire can help someone identify strong qualities that will help others excel in the future. This is critical for successful future especially in the work place or education and it should be required to be taken by students and prospective
