Technology is the new way of improving the health care system in order to get the best results for people’s health. If it’s to perform a surgery or just simply pull up a patient’s record in a database medical technology is used in almost all medical facilities. This technology helps the medicine field to improve in many great ways but there are many down sides to it too. New inventions of technology helps us in many ways such as diagnosing chronic diseases, making recoveries much faster and making it easier for us to carry out treatments. The medical technology also plays a role in the administrative department of medical facilities where information and other significant information are kept through different databases. On the other side, we as Americans don’t really realize what we are spending for the amount of medical technology we demand. “While a particular new technology may either increase or decrease health care spending, researchers generally agree that, taken together, advances in medical technology have contributed to rising overall U.S. health care spending “(KFF). All the new devices and technology being invented does require money in order for it to be created, and U.S spends millions to come up with new technology for the health care system.
