We do need to come up with a way to increase voter participation, instead of looking to lowering the voting age as the only answer. The oppossing side uses a european country as an example. Stating countries like Belgium with the highest voter turnout require all citizens to vote. The "Keep the Voting Age at 18" article calls young people's right to vote into question, as they lack civic responsibility. I would have to strongly disagree on that one point, as I belive young voters bring new ideas to this country. But I would have to agree with the other alternatives given to increase voter
