Lowering the age limit to eighteen would make it way too easy for younger kids to get alcohol, and I thought we were trying to avoid high school kids from drinking, and taking the chance of letting them get hurt. Alcohol would be easily available to high school students, thus lowering the drinking age is a bad idea with negative consequences. High school kids could try to sneak alcohol into the school, and try to drink it or sell it to younger kids. High school kids would be getting in more trouble with the law. Lowering the drinking age of anything under twenty one would be very harmful for many reasons. One reason is that the brain can be severely damaged by alcohol, especially if they are not fully developed. “Lowering the drinking age would be like saying that it is alright for young people to ruin their brains.” If younger people are allowed to drink, then more and more of them will have the chance to have brain malfunctions and become brain dead at a very young age. Letting younger people drink is giving immature adults more of the ability to make bad decisions that not only affect themselves, but can affect the people around them as well. There would be kids under the age of eighteen at the parties drinking. Most of the kids would stay at the house they 're partying at. The kids would drive home, and take a very high chance of getting in a wreck. Which could lead in it from hurting them self’s or hurting others. They could also kill them self or kill others, which if they killed someone else they would be changed in a count of law. Then they would have to spend time in Jail.
Lowering the drinking age is a major problem in the world that has taken many lives already. “There are many ways to die from alcohol, including: alcohol poisoning, drunk driving, and many other ways.” Alcohol just starts problems for everyone. The leading cause of car crashes is drinking and driving, so why lower the age. “In the United Sates, the death rate for alcohol poisoning in young teens has sky-rocketed in the past few years.” One good thing is that police officers have saved so many lives by pulling teens over.
