Some people believe the drinking age requirement should be lowered which would be very irresponsible.The requirement age is currently at 21. The drinking age should be not lowered and should stay at the age it is at now. Kids under the age of 21 have no business drinking because most people under the age requirement most likely has not finished college yet and should be focusing their time on their studies. There are not many pros to lowering the drinking age, but the pros to keeping the standard to where it is now for one is lowering MLDA 21 would give high schoolers and even middle schoolers easier access to alcohol.
