Title: The Pros and Cons of Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is the newest trend in the hair removal game, but is it worth all the hype? Who wouldn’t want a way to get rid of unwanted hair for long periods of time with the possibility that it would never grow up? But, how does it work? The concentrated laser beam targets the melanin found in hair. The pigment absorbs the light, damaging the follicle so that it hinders growth. While it seems to be a great way to diminish hair growth, it has its pros and cons. Keep reading for a list of the pros and cons of laser hair removal.
Pro: Possibility of permanent hair removal.
If you’ve done the procedure enough times, you have the possibility of keeping yourself as smooth as a baby’s bottom forever. It doesn’t work 100% of the time, but months without having to shave is still a pretty good deal

As mentioned, permanent hair loss may take some time and multiple appointments, and it may never be reached. The FDA approved the procedure for permanent reduced hair growth not permanent hair removal. Nevertheless, you can be sure to remain as hairless as a Sphynx cat for up to six to 12 months after six to eight treatments.
Pro: Saves time and money in the long run.
If you have nothing to shave or wax, then why bother buying razors and booking appointments. That’s right, there is none. Now you do not have to waste time and money on removing your unwanted hair and pick up a hobby instead. May I suggest dance or knitting?
Con: It may be more expensive in the short-term.
Hair removal appointments may get pricey in the beginning, considering it costs between $350 and $600 for smaller areas such as the chest or bikini region and between $600 and $900 for larger areas such as the back. But if your hair stops growing, then you don’t have to keep making appointments later
