I feel that both ideas have strong points, but weak as well. Nonetheless, I believe the LRE would be more affective, because it considers the severity of the child’s disability and provides accommodations. I am all for including students with disabilities into classes with students with non-disabilities. However, I feel that many instructors are not properly trained to work with students with disabilities, and that would lead to a negative classroom environment. I think it takes a lot of patients, and understanding when working with children with disabilities. That is why I don’t think the Inclusion would be affective, and would lead to a negative class environment. As a young kid I had a friend who was partially deaf, and I can honestly say that at times I would get frustrated when it came to communicating with him. As our friendship grew I feel that we both were able to teach each other something. For instance, I learned to use a little bit of sign language because of him, and I helped him be more socially active. I think the LRE would provide that social interaction with students with and without disabilities and benefit students
