Imperialism:Good or Bad

Imperialism is when bigger and stronger countries bully smaller less advanced ones and steal their resources for themselves. Imperialism is a terrible thing because it hurt countries the countries and only helped Europeans and not the countries they took over. Imperialism when it stopped left countries behind. Imperialism was bad then and you can still see the negative results in continents like Africa. European imperialist countries also ignored the natives’ best interests. They enslaved them for free labor to work their machines. While they they made them work they took their resources to feed their machines because the industrial revolution was going on in places like great britain and they needed workers and raw materials. The idea that one race is better than another. Africa and Asia were less powerful so the people that occupied the lands were seen as lower than the more stronger Europeans coming in with their big weapons and technology. After the Europeans left the governments collapsed because after being ruled nobody told them how to rule themselves.Europeans also left the borders up and that caused many people to fight in the borders.Europeans took what the had and just left they didn’t even bother to help. Europeans might have left them alone but they didn’t fix the mess they made and they still haven’t. In conclusion Imperialism is a terrible thing because it hurt countries and only helped Europeans and not the countries they took over. Europeans didn’t care about the native best interests,they spread diseases and they didn’t even help africa and other countries they took over are still suffering.
